Ethical Usage & Professional Integrity Policy

I. Purpose
Praxis Guard is a documentation support tool designed to assist care professionals in producing clear, objective, and defensible records. This policy establishes the ethical standards governing the use of the platform. All users are expected to engage with the tool in a manner consistent with professional integrity, institutional accountability, and respect for the individuals whose care is being documented.
II. Principles of Ethical Use
Users shall employ Praxis Guard solely for the purpose of supporting lawful, truthful, and professionally appropriate documentation of care activities.
Documentation created using the platform must accurately reflect the care provided, decisions made, and communications exchanged. Users must not use the tool to fabricate, distort, or selectively omit material facts.
AI-assisted suggestions offered by the platform are intended to improve clarity and neutrality of language. Users retain full responsibility for reviewing, accepting, or rejecting any suggestion before finalizing documentation.
The platform must not be used to create documentation intended to mislead regulatory bodies, legal proceedings, insurance providers, or any other professional oversight entity.
III. Professional Responsibility
Praxis Guard does not replace professional training, clinical judgment, legal counsel, or regulatory compliance. It is a supplementary tool that supports — but does not substitute for — the professional obligations of the user.
Users are responsible for ensuring that all documentation complies with applicable laws, professional codes of conduct, institutional policies, and privacy regulations including but not limited to HIPAA.
Users must not enter protected health information or personally identifiable client data into the platform unless they have confirmed that doing so is consistent with their institutional data handling policies.
IV. Accountability and Enforcement
Users who are found to be using Praxis Guard in a manner inconsistent with this policy may have their access suspended or terminated at the sole discretion of Catalysted LLC.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
